Seville Airport

The Seville International Airport is situated 10 kilometers east from the city. The airport underwent renovation in for the World Expo 1992. The design is based on Seville's cultural roots, using three traditional components: the mosque, the palace and the orange trees. An orange grove greets the travellers upon their arrival at the airport before they enter a hall, coloured blue by the effect of the glazed roof tiles, and crowned by a line of arches supported by vaults.

The airport handles over 3.5 million passengers. It is connected to all important international destinations and is served by all  major international airlines. In addition, several charter flights are also available from most destinations.

Car parking for 2000 cars is located directly opposite the terminal. The charges are 1.05 Euro for each hour or part of an hour up to 6.95 Euro for each 24 hours. There are plenty of taxis outside the terminal building the fair to the city centre is about 20 Euro.

A lot many car hire companies are also based in the airport, and they provide car hire from the airport for areas in and around Seville.
 
There is a bus service from every half hour from 06.15 to 23.00 to the Santa Justa railway station in the centre of the city. The bus EA runs a regular service to and from the city and the main railway station.

Seville is connected to Madrid by the high speed AVE train, which has reduced the distance between the two cities to less than two hours.
